honestly wouldnt even want it. im not a collector. 58,000 and reserve not met, what's the fucking guy want for it. i'd take 10 grand, find an absolutly mint hatchback, and have everything custom done on it with the extra 50,000 and have one incredible fox.
and for all you fags that are talking about selling your foxes to get 99+s, fuck you. once you get one, youll come crawling back to the fox bodies. so dont waste your time.
I totally agree with Pat, money could be better spent. I do think thats one nice ride, but what a waste. Dude sat on that car all this time and didnt even drive it, when he did there was plastic on the seats.. WTF Kinda like your trailor queens, LAME

It's just not worth that much money to me. I'm not a collector...i'd take 60 grand and build the worldest meanest fox, swap everything from 03 cobra drivetrain in to it, and interior, everything, get a nasty paintjob, and still have money left over.

Oh is that right !! So I wasted my time ? I think not !! The 99 + cars are not shit boxes or ford would not have gotten away from the dated fox chassis . Your chassis started life as a 78 fairmont incase you forgot . The new cars only draw back is the shity internals in the short block ( except 03/04 cobra's) . The newer cars are far superior to the fox chassis in every way , interiors , brakes, handling , drivetrain , and over all desighn . I am talking from experience here . I have owned 14 fox's from notch's to GT verts and I can say with complete confidence that I don't regret buying my 02 at all . There are 2 valve cars making well over 600 rwhp with stock ported P.I. heads and factory engine blocks . Try that with your factory E7's and factory 5.0 engine blocks . Yes these cars are expensive to build , but we all build what we can afford . Don't miss understand what I'm saying though ......... I have a love for the fox cars as well . Once I get my little issue fixed on mine I'll take you for a ride and we will see if you still think there shit box's . I do agree with you about paying that kind of money for that 93 cobra , but there are plenty of people that will .

haha, i have no problem with you building an 02! haha. i just cant stand how EVERY PERSON I KNOW with a foxbody is "selling their car" to buy a 99 GT. some people i know have been selling their cars since they bought it. why why why why why would you buy a car if its not what you want? if i wanted a 99 GT, i would have bought one. i could have aforded it...but i wanted an 89-93 LX hatch...so i bought one. sure i'd like an 03 cobra, but to be honest, im just as happy with the 93 hatch as i would be with an 03 cobra. different strokes for different folks, but for me? fox.
for 50,000$ u culd literaly build the sickest fox-body around, go on vacation, buy your friends a round of beers and still put 10,000$ in the bank....to me not worth it, but if i had the extra money your damn right id buy it....anyways....99+ cars arnt bad....but u cannot deny the power differnce from a 2-valve 4.6 to a pushrod 5liter....from the factory 5.0's garunteed to have more low end grunt...ive only raced 1 01 gt w. a vortech and i can say i was impressed but my old 92 lx just stomped on him....he only had a blower and exhaust....but i only had h/c/i on my car....idk i personlay wuldnt buy a SN car just cuz there to big for me, im a big dude but i fit perfectly in my 86 and love the way it feels, plus....its to much work to put a carb on a 99+ car hehe, anyways, if i was a 5.0 mustang w. a few bolt ons i wuld NOT fuck w. MINERAL O2's car on the street at all....cuz lets be honest...he'd put the boots to ya.

Thanks for the props Frank , but my car is by far not one of the quickist . It's a full weight and optioned car so it is a little on the heavy side . The novi 1000 is holding it back . Next year ( or maybe sooner ) it will be turbo time and 900 rwhp I do agree that the pushrod 5.0's are more torquier on the bottom , but the 2 valve is more zingier on top . But hay 260 hp out of 281 c.i. V.s. 215 from 302 c.i. aint to shabby . Hell.... my 02 GT was making more than the 93 cobra did from the factory .
When my buddy brian comes back from Virginia I'm gonna post up some pics of the sickest fox I have ever seen . It's an 82 GT with a 357 c.i. twin turbo making 1800 hp ( that is not a miss print ) . He turned it down to 1200 rwhp for pump gas haha... and yes he street drives it. The car cost 100,000. to build , but he might let it go for 60 g's .
