If you really love the car, don't do it. I had a Dart that I had for 6 years, had to sell last year for reasons beyond my control. I regret it to this day.

yea if you don't really care if you keep it or not it's not big deal , my last car (86 regal w/454 bbc) i regret getting rid of that car everyday , was one one of the worst mistakes i've made .
I have owned 40 some odd cars and modified 80% of them......only really regret getting rid of 2, a supercharged 88 GT I had and a supercharged 97 Cobra Saleen replica I put together. I just don't get attached to cars.

I DO VERY MUCH, MY MAROON CAR THAT THING HAD 67K ON IT AND WAS A 1 OWNER CAR, WHO WAS A STATE TROOPER, IT WAS STORED IN A HEATED AIRCRAFT CARRIER FULLY BUILT BOTTOM END, ALUM HEADS, COMP CAM XE274R....AWSOME CAR....WISH I NEVER SOLD IT....OR MY 86 gt IT WAS A FLORIDA CAR....ALL FACTORY....IF U LIKE UR CAR....KEEP IT! DONT DO A SPUR OF THE MOMENT THING LIKE ME!

Depends on the car, I really only regret selling my 89 LX 5.0 because I got fucked on the deal, if it had been a good title on the car I traded for I wouldn't have cared. And I regret selling my 85 GT t-top because the novalty of car and for how little I sold it for. I wish I had just thrown it behind my house and sat on it for a few years, because a t-top car is hard to come by. As for my the stang I have now, im attached to it and dont plan on selling it ever. I had thought about it, but I love it and don't want to sell it. I'm also, strange enough, attached to my Hyundai. I dont wash it and I spit on it because I don't care about how it looks what so ever, but I love it. I never want to sell it and im gonna have it as a winter beater for the next 5 years, you watch. It's only 10 years old and it's got plenty of life left in it, and when the motor finally does pop, im going to rebuild it most likely and it will only cost me 200 bucks to redo the bottom end. I just love how good on gas it is and how nice it drives. I never want to sell it, im attached to both the cars I have right now and dont plan on selling either of them. ill have the mustang till im dead unless i crash it and the hyundai until its completely not worth fixing anymore. but as for now, the hyundai treats me like a gentleman.
ik once the right 78-81 Malibu comes around...i will be selling/parting out my notch...no doubt, after i build the 'bu, i will find a mint fox and just keep it mostly stock.
