I've had mine almost 16 years. I bought it in October Of 1992. I bought it off the original owner with 85,000 miles on it. I paid a $1,000.00 bucks for it. The motor was blown and the car was a C.F.I. injected automatic trans equipped car. The interior and body was absoultely mint. The car did need paint though. It took me 5 years to build it and has been on the road 11 years now. I still have alot of fun with it, but I don't get to enjoy it as much as I used to.

I've had mine for 7 years, as I bought it in February of 2000. However, it's only been on the road since April of 2004, as it took my brother and I four long years to build it. It sucked looking at it in the garage for 4 years before I could even drive it. I'm glad that I can drive it now!
10 years with my 88 here. took me 1 year to get it on the road (was a recovered theft from Staten Island NY missing its 4 cyl engine & tranny) doing the 5.0 swap to it with a carbed motor. not even the same car now!

Wow alot of you guys havent owned them that long except for a few guys. I know most of you have been around the Mustang scene for along time. I really miss seeing the Fox Mustangs driving around. I mean they are still around just not seen as Frequently as they used to. I love the sound of a 5.0L with Flowmasters. I live on a main road and I used to hear them coming and going all the time. I don't hear them as much anymore. I remember when people drove them daily year round and they were everywhere. I was one of those people. They definitely had a sound of there own. Do any of you guys plan to keep them long term?
