Looking to buy a set of MT ET Street slicks. I have 4 17" rims, 2 of which I would like to but some et streets on... What size tire should I be looking at? .. also will there be plenty of clearence?

I'm running 275/40/17's on a 9 inch wide rear wheel.On my fox it is pretty tight clearance wise. I believe you can fit a 315 on the back of yours with the right wheel.

28" tall tire with a 50 or 55 sidewall, but im thinkiing slicks will grenade the rearend...

buddy's runnin s/c on slicks launchin at 5k rpm on stock rearend.... i thought the same but idk
