my rear end is at dmc getting cut to 48 inch so my mini tubs and 325/50/15 tires can tuck nice and use a 12 inch rim and coilover brackets put on and 9 inch ends tubes welded up and braced front and rear ill post pics in a couple weeks going 33 spline axles. dennis at dmc the only thing you gain in a 9 inch is able to take center section out easy, other than that , weight , and all the aftermarket stuff today i d just use a 8.8 in my opinion but good luck
