what a day. car was hooking ok and hooked just ok on the nitrous pass. ran super consistant today. put an email tune from my tuner in and was a little rich but was only able to make the one run. from my ET's today the car picked up 2 tenths and 4mph on the shot w/ the same 60'.....in the 1/8 mile! deff has a 6.0x in it. almost makes me want to toss 3.73s in the car and run full 1/4...
car ran consistant as hell, just not good enough for today's events. went to my local "2.5hr drive" 1/8 mile track with my club to have a club race and then race in the tracks Modified series. made a total of 9 passes. went a few rounds in each but man was it TIGHT! I was told the track was off on timing a little bit. the car seemed to be hooking really well but the best I could muster was a 1.40 and a bunch of sub 1.4s all day. made 2 suspension changes which seemd to help it after the first couple passes. DA was around 1000 feet.
1st pass - time trial race 1 1.41 6.43 @ 106.19
2nd pass - time trial race 1 1.42 6.41 @ 107.09
3rd pass - round 1 - 6.40 dial in 1.42 6.41 @ 107.24 - win by .33
4th pass round 2 - 6.40 dial in 1.40 6.39 @ 107.43 - doh! broke out by a hundreth
5th pass - time trial 1.40 6.39 @ 107.17
6th pass - time trial 1.42 6.40 @ 107.44
7th pass - round 1 - dial in 6.39 1.43 - spun! 6.41 @ 107.11 - win by .02
8th pass - round 2 - dial in 6.40 1.43 6.42 @ 107.09 - lost by .05!
and then the 9th pass...tried to warm my bottle up....30 minutes in the truck w/ the heat on best I could muster was 950ish. tossed it in the car along with the .047 jet and my tuners email tune and had at it. car spun hard out of the hole but felt perfect down the track.
1.40 6.18 @ 111.95
once I get this suspension sorted out, I think Ill see some 6.0s @ 112ish. not bad for a stock motor ported eaton car

I might try the bottle next time up to the 1/4...I think Ill run out of rpm though before the traps...prob between 1000' and 1200 feet. if I can make the 1k' though it would be a nice indicator of how fast it will go.
