I was removing torn up control arm bushings tonight & found gear oil leaking from axle tubes where they go into center section. So I took a closer look & found both axle tubes twisted & pulled out of of center section 1/8". To make a long story short, rear end is JUNK. So I will be out of commission for a while..no funds at this point to replace complete rear end.

Well, some good news. I got a complete "built" 8.8 w/ fully welded axle tubes w/ 9" housing ends w/big bearings welded on,Strange axles, adjustable upper control arms, Strange diff cover, 3.73 Pro Gears with a spool. for $800.00 from DMC. No money outta pocket, I'm gonna work it off. Big props to Dennis @ DMC. I've run a spool before on the street & it's no big deal. If I get any ambition this weekend, I may put it in. Still down in the dumps from step fathers passing Tuesday night.

haha rob id dint know it was that bad, anyways, if u ever need another rear end i have one in my basement ready to go... just needs gears and axles....u can have it.
