I agree 100%. I think that avatar's should be car related and not naked women. No, I'm not gay and I love naked women as much as any straight guy. I'm just thinking about the 12 or 13 year old kids that may want to join because they love Mustangs and have seen ours around at the shows with their fathers. The HOGGA section is awesome (although I do need a password) and that's where it should be.

As for banning people, unless they do something that defames this site, threaten another in a post on this site, flames people, baites people, etc...etc....etc..., they should be gone. Jim, I don't think you have to vote on it. I think you need clear, concise rules and appoint a moderator of each section of the site to monitor what's going on. Also, you will need to have a section for moderators to talk privately without anyone else gaining access. That's the area where you can all converse about what's going on before a banning can take place.

I'm a member of www.foureyedpride.com and to me, it's the best run site on the internet (and I visit tons of them). There's a reason why we've got some kids as young as 15 on there and other "kids" that are well into their 50's. Go on over there and take a look at their rules. One other thing, rules are only as good as the people who enforce them.

After looking through the post on everyone's ages on this site, it seems that we have a lot of younger, fire breating, young guns in their early 20's. That's cool! However, I know that when I was in my early 20's, acting wild was the "in" thing to do. Burnouts, street racing, name calling, threatening, etc...etc...etc... were the things to do. The difference between now and then is the internet. Because there was no internet, most people didn't know what I was all about and to the casual acquaintance, I may have been viewed as an angel. As I got older, I realized that all of that behavior was STUPID and I began to change.

Now we have the internet, where word spreads like wildfire. If you have a street race, EVERYONE knows about it because you post a video, bragging about your online. If you have a fight, that too gets aired out on the net. To me, this is CRAP and I think that is part of the reason why I believe that some of the older guys stay away from this site. Us older generation is past that and we've matured to the point where we realize that there's a time and place for everything.

The potential is here to have a great site that WE ALL can be active, contributing memers. I think that a few minor changes, rule enforcement and the like, will get it done and we'll have the best site in Massachusetts.

Some interesting points made there Pete. The moderators can converse through pm's or by phone even, we all have each others phone #'s. The basis of this site is not to be like others, stuffy & just an overall "tight" atmosphere. I do agree with cleaning up the avatars & having the hogga section the almost anything goes section. The site should come 1st & people's personal vendetta's ,drama, etc. a distant second. As far as banning someone, it should be discussed/decided by moderators only. I believe between the 5 of us, we can make an intelligent decision. Jim's core beliefs when he started this site was to have a fun,somewhat relaxed site for people who love Mustangs, have meets, track days, etc. We need to get this ship steered back in the right direction & be viewed by our peers as a great site. Not some loose cannon with a bunch of punks on it.

Right, I don't want the stuffiness either. However, there has to be a happy medium somewhere between "gangsta punk" and "prim and proper".

we have this site for reasons and first and most important is the CARS!!! then sharing information and helping other with problems or situations and what not!! now if u dont like or dont get along with some people then just stay away from them!! but dont start shit in others posts start ya own thread in the fight section!!!

this is what it is all about. some of us have a problem with recent banning and there is always a better solution. I hate to say it but this is an evolution that I will dare to say will grow. I know the whole site appreciates more networking and this will be a huge step forward. Ipersonally want to have a good time with this and I do. But I don't want to tell people to join again and have them banned by someone else I told about the site. I tell people from all over about this and I seek no gratification. We all have one thing in common.... Ponies!!! A little more structure will be progress and more events will be more organized. We can make a good thing better. So lets all have fun and let the good tires burn!!!!!

Ok id like to say thanks to all who stepped up an said sumthing i never made it into a big deal or get to this point at all. But its all over now an Jim an i talked its kool i am back on so everyone can let it go.Everyone have fun an be safe.

yeh don big difference from NEMS lol...it seemd like theres the main core of assholes (and this isnt to shit talk anyone on there i personally dont have a problem with anyone) but it seems like a select few run the site by shitting on whatever they dont like and even if they would like it if its posted by someone other than them they always gotta out do it...i still have fun watching it all happen tho lol...this is probly the least bullshit ridden forum ive seen ina while...i think Jims decision was big step in the right direction
