Well I am on a mission to make my engine bay prety..... Well I got a binch of the polished stainless steel covers and souch things as that, and I clean everything under there...but.... I am in the process of making some custom valve covers... steeda underdrive pullys... accufab 75 mill tb and plenum with some tax money....already have the polished CAI... now I want to prety the underside of my hood.... looking into the black dynomat underhood insulation... anyone have any ideas. input, pics,.... Im open to anything prety under the hood........
WOW...that manifold goes about 700 to 800 dollers..... WOWSA............ I dont know if i can justify that for 5 or 10 HP..... How much did you notice and what are your suporting mods? I have stock valve train...... for now........lol
16hp isnt bad for a 2v im thinking about getting it, and bbk is comming out with one this spring also so idk what to do
yeah i saw that one, looks pretty good but ive had a lot of bad luck with bbk in the past... but yeah 16rwhp is amazing for the little 2V def worth the 700 dollars
Ya... I know get rid of the 4x4 look... Its on my list...lol... I am cleaning up the under side of my hood... I was going to just take down the insulation that is there bit the paint under it is prety dull and crappy.... I was looking and dynamat makes an adhesive hood liner that I think I am going to try... Anyone have any luck with this or seen it?

Trickflow intake manifold is garbage. If you want a good manifold for the 4.6 sohc go with the p-51 from Fox Lake. I still havent found the point where it stops flowing. My frind pulls his cam and headed gt too 7000 rpm. It makes 275 rwhp and 290 rwtq. That's through a built 4r70W with a 4000 stall. With the dynotune n2o kit he goes to 365/ 410 with a 100 shot. N/a the car runs 12.8 everytime. On spray the best he has gone was 7.4 in the 1/8. We got screwed with the track the end of last season. Only ran 1/8 mile. He will go mid 11's this year.

p-51 is def. what im going to buy, i just spent the last hour reading about the intake and everything. not one had a bad thing to say and everyone says the gains from a 2v are like no other intake out there

yeah i looked at p-51, but i have heard it rubs the stock hood and at the time i really didnt feel like finding it out the hard way, i know trickflow makes some good shit and i waited till it hit the market for some time before i bought it as seeing that HPS typhoon one is worth less than dogshit, the trackheat had made one hella a decent gain on my car and im not complaining...im not knocking p-51 about gains just the clearance issue.

I havent heard of it but dynamat makes some really good stuff, just remeber you going to be adding a lot of wieght to your car!!!
Well its only 1/8th thick It also comes in 1/4 I cant imagine it would weight that much...?
correct me if im wrong but they are the same ppl who make the sound absorber material for sound systems... that shit weighs a ton, if you want to dress up under the hood i have seen cars with that mirrior like finish on the underside of the hoods and that looks pretty tit.
Ok...so I ordered my Accufab 75 mm tb and plenum combo... I have my steeda pullys, new belt, new blue OBX radiator hoses, New OBX blue vacume line hoses some nice 281 badges that I will be ataching to my valve covers.... Now I am in the market for a new hood pad... mine looks so ratty and old... Anyone seen any place to buy them....
Sweet....anything else you wana get rid of... Im in the market for some romeo valve covers to customise and a thremostst housing..... Post some pics... Im very intrested in what ya have to offer.....
Having built a 2 valve myself ... My advice would be to buy a set of cams and keep the factory intake for now . The cams will sound sick and will make more power than an intake for less money . The stock intake flows enough air to support 400 rear wheel horse . Plus the plastic intake won't heat soak like aluminum will . Also keep in mind that most aftermarket intakes promise more horse but these are peak numbers .. Average horse power is what you want for a street motor . You could easily add a 100 shot of juice and would put your car deep in the twelves . Plus look good under the hood to boot !! Cams , elbow , TB 70 or 75 , pullies , long tubes , Programmer , and a shot of Juice and you will have one respectable steet car . Just my
