Although not on here alot either Autoteknix is already in the 9.xx also there is an early (66 or 67) Stang on here in the 9's as well. My best guess is: 1) Jake should dip into the 9's, he's doing a big single or twins (turbo) 2) Boost Whore will be running in the 10's no sweat when he's up & running. Jimmy as long as he gets some chassis under his car 10's will be a leisurely drive. 3) There will be several members in the 11's...I hope I'm one of them along with Bonz, Ed, Retro,Allen, Joe L. etc. 4) mid 12's-mid 13's catogory will have the most members im my opinion.

There are some sick cars on here ... So it would be anybodies guess . Having stated that ... I'll go with my buddy Brian's twin turbo 82 GT . He went 9.80's last year peddaling it half down the track because it had 8th mile gears and he ran out of RPM @ 8500. ....LOL The car has gone 7.80's @ 189 mph with the correct gearing ...... I can vouch for Brian's car aswell .... Just to put it in a little perspective .... His car makes 850 rwhp on pump gas with only 10#'s of boost .... It's set up for 30 !! At 30 it made 1400 ++ rwhp .. It's pretty badass ... he can dial the amount of boost he wants at a touch of the button on the digital boost controler . It even controls the amount of boost he wants as he comes of the line and uses co2 to work the waste gate for a faster response . His car has things in it I never seen before and I've been around stangs for awhile . Don't get me wrong ..... Jim's car is fucking sick !! But, like already stated above ..... Brian's car really is in a class of it's own !!

Here are some specs ... It has twin 66 mm turbo's capable of 30 #'s of boost on race gas . It has been dynoed at 1500 rwhp at 30 # of boost on race fuel and at only 9# 's on pump gas it has made 850 rwhp. It has canfeild heads with 2.05 intake and 1.90 exhaust valves , 374 c.i. tall deck 302 that redlines @ 8500 rpm , Cartech intake and 100 mm tb , electronicly adjustable wastegates ( 8 to 30 # of boost @ your finger tips) If you think this is a stripped down race car think again !! It has all the factory amneties including a stereo with cd player and power steering . In this trim it has gone 7.80's @ 178 mph on just drag radials . I would like to tell you more but the current owner likes things hush hush .

No ones talking shit here !! It might be a tough pill for you to swallow , but it's the truth . His car wasn't thrown together over the winter . It is a tested and proven combo . It was in muscle mustangs a few years back and was the winner of a national street car event in florida . This thread started as " who do you think will be the fastest street car this year " and i gave my opinion . I don't want this to turn into a bench race about why one car makes more power than another . You see this is the problem he has had with the car . Every one wants to race him and he will NOT race it on the street . It's not that he is scared ... far from it . It's just that he values his liscence and needs it . Plus there is way to much time and money into this car to risk to prove a point ...and he isn't going to throw the car in the trailer to just race you . I'm sure you bolth will be at the track someday..... Probably during a FORD event perhaps..... Then you will get your wish .

Thanks for even considering me for one of the fastest street cars in this forum. I have only met a few of you guys but you all seem ok. Now for the response to the lack of power that my car displays. I could could care what anybody thinks. If you don't know me or my car than you should not judge. I do not usally participate in these forums for these very reasons.
