on a stock 5.0 will the carb make more power than efi Just wondering

depends who the person is. i love carb, thats what i have now. there may be an advantage on top end speeds with a carb, but that depends on whose saying it. overall efi is better. adjusts for altitiude changes, better cold weather starts, etc... but i love carbs! and usually better fuel mileage...

Bringing back a dead thread.. LOL So what are the pros and cons of carbed motors vs EFI? I want comparison.. Thanks, because I may be going carbed as well.. I am undecided.

efi is stable and can adjust to the temp...carbs are able to bring better power n/a

carbs are alot more simple then fuel injection less wiring cleaner

Thanks boys for the quick response, I am leaning towards going carb more than ever now.. as far as it not adjusting as well to temps like efi can, not worried about it as I don't drive it in the winter.. LOL Can't wait.. I'm going to try and go with the Edlebrock set-up 600

x2 on edelbrock carbs they suck all they are a piec of shit carter ...buy a holley or demon

pic up a holley 4150 and have no hassle

ok i have a question this might be dumb but im going carbed and was wondering about the fuel pump bc now i have an after market walbro fuel pump and that will be way to much fuel for the carb so what you think i should get
