so i went all out with my exhaust bbk LT bbk shorty hpipe with cats o2 sensors extender kit mil eliminators and still getting a check engine light on saying a calystic code do you know why this is happening? i cant pass inspection with the light on any help would be great
Id post this in the exhaust section... might get more of a response, but i put bbk lt 2 highflow cats with o2 extenders on my car and no check engine light , who did it for u? mgiht wanna bring it back and see if they welded the 02 sensors in the right spot , possible it could be throwing a code for that, are ur cats high flows? lemme kno how it goes my buddy has a similar problem
i put the exhaust on myself and i was talking to a friend at work about it he was saying that the car has to be drivin so many miles before the light will shut off with the mil eliminators but ill let you know what happens
ya i would say that was false statement .. again due to how mine was installed and the light NEVER came on but im not 100% sure on that could be true .. did u run the code yet? do u kno wat its for ?
the code is for a small evap leak that has been on for ever and never stoped me from passing a inspection and the second code is a catlatic efficiency code
mils dont always work make sure ur o2s are good take neg cable off to reset computer if it dont come back on in 500miles you will be good most likely ur o2 shit the bed
